About us

MEMBERS:

president: Karen Monnon Dempsey

The National Council of Women of Canada(NCWC) is composed of:

- board of directors                                                                 -  the study groups

- the standing study committees                                          - the provincial councils of women (6 councils total)

- the administrative committees                                           - the nationally organized societies (NOS)

- the ad-hoc/ special committees                                          -  international council of women (ICW)

-  the local councils of women(12 councils total)                - the charitable organizations 


OUR GOALS:

The NCWC's ultimate goal is to provide research and public education for an various array of topics. We strive towards better public health measures as well as gender equality and equal pay. Superior and more affordable child care is  also very important to us as well as the welfare of children. In the end, the National Council of Women of Canada simply want an equal and fair society that provides everyone with essential resources and good education no matter a persons gender, race or sexuality.
