Nowadays, the main focus of the NCWC is the NCWC fund which provides research and public education concerning the social, mental, physical, health and environmental necessities of women, families and society overall. The NCWC also has joint research and education programs such as:

- Young Women and Violence Prevention

- Securing Our Future-the Economics of Later Life plans/curricula to help young women plan for a healthy economic future

- The Water/Energy Connections Project
